SHOPPING in BANGKOK

Finally, i am in the mood to blog alittle about my Holiday trip to BANGKOK. "The land of thousand smiles."

Honestly to say, it was good. Food was good, shopping was good, hotel service and hotel room was good, People there are good.

CHATUCHAK WEEKEND MARKET
(Sells anything you can imagine... Clothes, shoes, bags, food, furnitures, PETS and many more..)

As boyfriend and i went over during the weekends, its obvious we didn't give the Weekend Chatuchak Market a miss! Its like your PASAR MALAM in singapore, except the fact that it's at least a few hundred times bigger! I swear! we walked there till our legs were numb from the walking and still, we didn't even complete half the market. You need at least a few days to finish walking it.... PLUS, if you are not careful, you will get lost in there.

Beware of pickpockets though... Plus, it will be advisable to get a fan/paper fan.. its like a oven in there with the temperature in bangkok...

PLATINIUM MALL
(MY favourite shopping center... shopping there alone is sufficient for GIRLS)
5 LEVELS of shopping .... sounds little? There's almost a few thousand shops there.. it will take you one whole day to finish maybe 3 levels, if you walk each and every single shop. Clothes, Bags, Shoes, Comestics... It's really heaven... shopping heaven! I bought 80% of my stuffs there... And some of the clothes there you can find it in Singapore... except its like less than half the price you pay.

People should just go there and do their annual shopping. Its good!
Bargain is not really neccesary here cuzz, when you purchase 2-3 pcs from the same shop, just ask for the wholesale price and they will gladly give it to you..

*shorts might not be able to be tried on... so better to bring your own shorts for comparison.. if not, wrong size! Their size for SML is smaller than the normal ones that we buy in singapore for some designs.. Word of caution!
